Overview
Visa’s annual Payments Forum returned to San Francisco as its most global and most attended edition to date. Hosted across Moscone Center and the Palace of Fine Arts, the event brought together the most influential minds in payments, technology, and commerce for three days of keynotes, panels, product experiences, and an exclusive concert headlined by Maroon 5.
The Challenge
Designing for an event of this scale means solving for multiple environments simultaneously — a main stage optimized for broadcast, a marketplace built for product demos and client engagement, and a closing concert with its own distinct identity. Each needed to feel cohesive within the broader event system while standing on its own terms.
The Approach
The visual identity was built around the theme Powering Connections — a direct expression of the real, tangible value of convening in person. The Visa ‘V’ became the central graphic device, anchoring a dynamic visual system that balanced the strength of the master brand with the energy of the event. Motion conveyed progress and connection. Color added depth and warmth. The result was an identity that felt unmistakably Visa while carrying the scale and confidence the forum demanded.
The main stage drew directly from the angles of the Visa ‘V’ to create a refined, broadcast-optimized auditorium. The design balanced architectural presence with functional precision — a space built to frame executive presentations, panels, and fireside chats with clarity and authority.
